How to choose
- Solo or team? Per-staff pricing is cheap at one or two walkers and adds up at ten. Flat-band or flat-team pricing (Precise Petcare, Nuzzo) can win as you grow. Do the math at your size next year, not just today.
- Proof of visit. Most tools offer GPS check-in and photo report cards. Pet Check advertises QR-verified visits, which some clients like for key-holding jobs.
- Client app. Clients judge you on the report card they get after the walk. Try the client side of each app during the trial.
- Payroll. Some tools include payroll features; others offer pay reports or paid add-ons. If you have W-2 walkers, check how pay data flows to your payroll provider.
- Billing style. Automatic weekly billing and cards on file save hours of chasing invoices.
